Mounting

Mounting, Lamination & Presentation Services
We offer a wide range of options for the presentation of your final prints. Materials include archival Foamcore, Gatorboard or Gatorfoam, Sintra, Aluminum, Dibond, and Acrylic Facemounts.
We can install an aluminum recessed floating back frame if your final pieces will be hung directly on the wall. We love custom jobs, so if there's a service or substrate you don't see listed here, please get in touch for a custom-tailored estimate.
Turnaround
Normal turnaround is 2 weeks. Please Note: While we always try to return your job as quickly as possible, actual turnaround time depends on quantity, sizes, and our current in-house workload. Please call for scheduling if your project requires a quicker turnaround. Rush services are available.

Mounting Materials
Archival Foamcore
Excellent for prints that need a backing before going into frames, foamcore is an economical, acid-free mounting solution. Because foamcore tends to curl or bow and is a relatively soft material, we do not recommend it for prints that won't be installed in a frame. Foamcore is available in 1/8" and 3/16".
4-ply Museum Board
An excellent option for prints that need a backing before going into frames, and one of the first choices for framers, museums, and collectors. We do not recommend Museum Board for prints that won't be installed in a frame. Museum Board is available in 4-ply white.
Gatorfoam
Similar to foamcore, but much more rigid. Gatorfoam is comprised of extruded polystyrene foam bonded between two layers of wood-fiber veneer. It's suitable for shorter-term displays because of its rigid characteristics. Gatorfoam comes in 3/8" and 1/2”, white or black.
Sintra
A rigid, PVC-based plastic product with a fairly smooth, durable surface. Sintra comes in 3mm and 6 mm, white or black. Additional colors are available for custom orders.
Aluminum
A thin, sturdy mounting substrate with a sophisticated gallery feel. Aluminum provides a polished look to the final presentation of an image.
Dibond
A top tier 3mm aluminum composite material made up of two pre-painted sheets of thin aluminum with a solid black polyethylene core. One of the flattest panels on the market, Dibond won't bow over time, offers excellent durability, and weighs less than an aluminum panel. This is our high-end mounting option when the surface needs to be smooth, rigid and stable.
acrylic
As a premium mounting material used for face-mounting prints, we offer standard acrylic in 1/8" and 1/4", as well as 1/8" non-glare and TruLife Anti-Reflective Acrylic. For face-mounting, we recommend a suitable backing material, such as Dibond or Sintra, to protect the back of the print. We also recommend installing a recessed box frame on the back with a cleat for a frameless presentation. Prints mounted behind acrylic are truly gorgeous!
