Working hand in hand with Hugomento’s Hugo Lai, Hanson Digital produced Wing Shya’s first solo retrospective exhibition in the United States. The collection of work shown spanned over two decades and showcased his multi-faceted career ranging from film stills, fashion pictorials, celebrity shots and his own artistic projects. 

Hanson Digital made these custom prints on metal to exacting specifications to achieve the best color range, rendition and ensure a cohesiveness throughout the show.

We were honored to produce this body of work for Jacqueline Walters exhibition at Chung 24 Gallery in San Francisco in coordination with Corden Potts Gallery. This lovely pop up featured work from her series "Learning Mandarin and the Language of Lumens". Hanson Digital worked with the client provided scans of her analog originals, made finely tuned color adjustments to achieve the perfect match to her originals.

The smaller pieces were mounted with recessed multi-ply plywood (apple-ply) blanks, with custom keyhole hangers to allow them to float off the wall, while the larger pieces were mounted in custom white 2" float frames. All work was completed in house.

Project:

The Jerome Project is a multi-platform art history project to preserve, protect, and further the artistic legacy of the late Jerome Caja (1958-1995). Curated by director Anthony Cianciolo, the exhibition Found: The Lost Art of Jerome Caja includes both works from the late artist and photos of him printed on exhibition-quality metal. The show celebrates Jerome as a rebellious, wildly creative spirit and aims to make his work both accessible and inspirational to today’s generation.

Hanson Digital produced all of the finely tuned prints on metal, along with custom black floater frames for this wonderful retrospective of San Francisco based artist. The final show was displayed at Anglim Trimble Gallery in the Minnesota Street Project.

Pamela Gentile, a San Francisco photographer formerly trained as a filmmaker, has spent 40 years documenting the world of cinema. In her first solo exhibition, Live Cinema, she captured movie theater screens with live accompaniment. Her work aims to preserve and pay tribute to the cinematic theater experience.

Hanson Digital produced 30 exhibition-quality metal prints with recessed backframes for this show. They feature a white matte finish that shows off the subtleties in the deepest black poin
