Betterlight Scanning Back
We can produce 16-bit digital files over 1 gigabyte in size direct from your flat artwork with our state-of-the-art Betterlight Scanning back system. By using our precision laser alignment tool, we can be sure the camera is completely parallel to the artwork surface, resulting in extremely sharp and non-distorted copy shots.
384 megapixels of raw digital capture from the Betterlight Scan back, coupled with our Northlight HID lighting system, creates results that are unsurpassed, rivaling the quality of 8x10 transparency film. The Northlights provide very even lighting to satisfy museum standards, and are virtually heat-free, without the high infrared emissions and ultraviolet levels that can damage artwork.
We process and color manage your files to match to your original artwork, and we can generate both high-quality RGB and/or CMYK press-ready files to suit your final usage.

Original Artwork
We can shoot flat artwork including paintings, illustrations, and prints up to 96" wide. Artwork over 36" x 48" in size and all 3D pieces will incur a special handling charge. An estimate will be given prior to starting the job.
