We offer a full range of services for the fine artist, from photography on archival film to high-resolution digital captures. We can handle flat artwork up to 96" wide, and can arrange special studio setups for 3D pieces. Please call for more details.
Film
A 4x5 reproduction-grade transparency is the ideal archival material for the serious artist, for cataloging or for high-resolution drum scanning.
We have an excellent system for photographing fine art pieces on to 4x5 transparency film, medium format film, or 35mm slides. We use a precision laser alignment tool to make sure the camera is completely parallel to the artwork surface, resulting in extremely sharp and non-distorted copy shots.
Digital Capture
We can produce 16-bit digital files over 600 megabytes direct from your flat artwork. We use color balanced, museum-standard lighting, and the final digital capture is carefully corrected to match your original.
We painstakingly process and color manage your files to match to your original artwork, and we can generate both high quality RGB and/or CMYK press ready files to suit your final usage. Depending on your file needs, we can either offer you an RGB proof or a SWOP-certified CMYK proof for prepress printing.

Original Artwork
We can shoot flat artwork including paintings, illustrations, and prints up to 96" wide. Artwork over 36" x 48" in size and all 3D pieces will incur a special handling charge. An estimate will be given prior to starting the job.
